I qualified as a Barrister, but soon realised I wasn't cut out for the law. Instead, after a year travelling across Africa and ski rep-ing in the French Alps, journalism beckoned with a stint working as a Researcher for BBC London Radio. From radio I moved into TV production, assistant producing on The Frost Programme, Beyond Belief and BBC Documentaries before working in front of the camera. Five years were spent as a Reporter/Presenter for ITV London (London Today, London Tonight, Capital Gains, Europe a la Carte, Five Star Adventure and Travel Xpress.) After having my three children I started writing as a columnist for the Independent (Diary of a Primary School Mum) and freelancing for several UK National Newspapers: Sunday Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent and the Express. I have written four novels: Lover in Law, Weak at the Knees, Now is our Time and A Call to Heaven. My most recent book is a travelogue called Antarctica: An Expedition Cruise Travel Guide. I specialise in travel writing and like to ski, kayak, cycle, hike and cruise around the world. When I'm not gallivanting around, I can be found in London with my husband, three kids and Jerald the cat. I can also be found on my YouTube travel channel: Go with Jo
