I qualified as a Barrister, but soon realised I wasn't cut out for the law. Instead, after a year travelling across Africa and ski rep-ing in the French Alps, journalism beckoned with a stint working as a Researcher for BBC London Radio. From radio I moved into TV production, assistant producing on The Frost Programme, Beyond Belief and BBC Documentaries before working in front of the camera. Five years were spent as a Reporter/Presenter for ITV London (London Today, London Tonight, Capital Gains, Europe a la Carte, Five Star Adventure and Travel Xpress.) After having my three children I started writing as a columnist for the Independent (Diary of a Primary School Mum) and freelancing for several UK National Newspapers: Sunday Times, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent and the Express. And I also wrote my first novel - Lover in Law. In addition to being a novelist I specialise in travel writing - skiing, cruising, kayaking, cycling and hiking across the globe. When I'm not gallivanting around, I can be found in London with my husband, three kids and the newest addition to our lives: Jerald the cat.
